Canada secures dramatic victory over Ireland

In a match reduced to 35-overs per side, due to morning rain, Ireland made 175-9 with John Mooney (47) and Paul Stirling (35) leading the way for the Irish. Khurram Chohan was the pick of the Canada attack taking 3-25.

In reply, Canada lost both openers early on in reply, before Ruvindu Gunasekera (71) and Ashish Bagai (64) put on a brilliant partnership of 140 runs for the third wicket.

With Canada needing just 13 runs for victory, with two overs remaining, the light was too bad in the end to continue to provide Canada with a morale-boosti
